Understanding PSA roles and permissions

What each role can see and do — site PSA, lead PSA, admin, district admin.

Overview

What each role can see and do — site PSA, lead PSA, admin, district admin.

This guide walks through the recommended workflow inside the Getting Started area of PSA 360.

What you'll see

  • A header with the most important metric and a trend indicator.
  • Supporting cards that break the metric into actionable groups.
  • A timeline or list of recent activity tied to this view.

How to read it

  1. Start at the top — the headline metric tells you whether action is needed.
  2. Scan the supporting cards left-to-right; each one filters the list below.
  3. Click any row to open the underlying student, case, or task.

Common questions

  • Why does the number differ from the SIS? PSA 360 syncs nightly; same-day changes appear after the next import.
  • Can I save my filters? Yes — use Save view in the top-right to pin your preferred slice.
  • Who else can see this? Visibility follows role and school scope. Admins see all assigned schools.
