When a case may be SARB-ready

Indicators that SART has been exhausted.

Overview

Indicators that SART has been exhausted.

This guide walks through the recommended workflow inside the SARB area of PSA 360.

Indicators

  • Attendance pattern crosses the configured threshold for SARB.
  • Prior tier interventions did not produce sustained improvement.
  • Parent contact has been attempted in the family's preferred language and documented.

How PSA 360 flags it

When the indicators above are met, PSA 360 raises an alert on the dashboard, adds the student to the relevant queue, and (if enabled) creates a follow-up task for the assigned PSA.

What to do

  1. Open the flagged case.
  2. Review the timeline to confirm prior steps are documented.
  3. Take the recommended next action — escalate, schedule, or override with a reason.

Tips

  • Thresholds can be tuned in Admin → Risk thresholds. Keep the defaults unless a district policy requires otherwise.
