Why attendance numbers can drift between SIS and PSA 360, and how to fix or report it.
Overview
PSA 360 imports attendance from the SIS overnight. If a number looks wrong, it's almost always one of three things.
Most common causes
- SIS wasn't refreshed — check SIS Import for last sync time.
- Bell schedule mismatch — period attendance depends on the school's current bell schedule.
- Enrollment overlap — recently transferred students may show partial data while the prior-school records merge.
Step-by-step fix
- Open the student profile → Audit log → confirm the last SIS sync that touched the record.
- If sync is stale: ask the attendance clerk to re-run the import or wait for the next nightly run.
- If bell schedule is off: visit Bell Schedules and confirm the active schedule for that date.
- If enrollment overlap: file an admin ticket with the prior school code.
When to escalate
If sync is fresh, schedule is correct, and the number is still wrong, contact your district PSA admin with the student ID and the date in question.
