When meeting with families, consider asking:

  1. What does a typical morning look like?
  2. Are there specific days that are harder?
  3. How does the student feel about school?
  4. Are there any health concerns we should know about?
  5. What would make it easier for the student to attend?

Always document identified barriers in the SART case using the barrier categories provided in the system.
